Improved. Good thing no one can see the right and left doglegs at the same time. they’re both uniquely wrong, but a pretty close guess as to what they’re supposed to look like. This side will be at least half a inch narrower between the door and wheel lip. No going back. I’m glad I walked away from it yesterday, I might have come up with a worse solution.
A couple sessions of welding before this is buttoned up.

our junkyards were full of them at one point, and I’ve boogered a slip on rocker on more than one Nova Scotian Minivan. About half the cars That made it from down east could never be registere d due to rust. I think they stopped moving here awhile back. But Saskatchewa n being what it is, this B elvedere can be on the road no questions asked.

Yeah, salty air and the salt on the roads here do not a rust-free car make :(
